Pontiac Youth Theatre brings together young artists from diverse backgrounds—different zip codes, cultures, and families—fostering unity through the shared art of storytelling. Our desire is for our students to discover the power of their collective differences, creating something beautiful, meaningful, and impactful. This program helps students understand the universal truth that we need each other and what unites us is far greater than what divides us.

Our mission at Pontiac Youth Theatre is to cultivate a transformative training ground for youth in our community, helping them understand their value and worth through the vehicle of the performing arts.
OUR HISTORY
Pontiac Youth Theatre began in 2022, with a dream to produce high quality youth theater with students across geographical borders and bring it to the heart of Pontiac, in the hidden gem called the Flagstar Strand Theater. Our first production of Moana, hosted 22 students from 6 schools and 8 cities. In just a few years, Pontiac Youth Theatre has grown to see over a hundred students participate in 6 beautiful productions.
